Description
A Polish plentiful cultivar yielding tasty fruit with a pineapple flavor. Grows strongly, reaching up to 8 m height. Annual growth is 2 m. Coiled shoots twine around supports. Actinidia blooms in late May and early June. The flowers are small and white. For the fruit to set and yield, a male plant is need in the vicinity, eg. Male 'Weiki'. At the production plantations 1 male plant is provided for 6-8 female ones. The variety yields fruit in the 2nd - 3rd year after planting. The fruits ripen in late September. There are ovate-oblong, elongated, 3 cm long and 2,5 cm across. They have pronounced reddish-pink blush. The plant requires a warm, wind-protected sites. Best grow in fertile, moist, welll-drained soil. Sustains frosts up to -28°C.
