A Russian variety of an interesting flower colour. The original form of large light-pink flowers, 12-15cm in diameter, usually have 6 elliptic, pale pink sepals in a warm delicate hue with darker tips and yellow anthers on white filaments. New growth is purple-coloured. Blooms in May-August. Attaches itself to the support by means of twining leaf petioles. It grows to a height of 2-2.5 m. It prefers semi-shaded, moist humus rich soil but good drainage. Ideal for growing over various types of supports: arbors, trellises, poles or natural supports such as trees and shrubs.
