Description

Unusual flowers, shaped like lily-flowered tulips. Rich crimson tepals are later spreading. The beautiful flowers open much wider than other texensis types. During autumn and winter the plant is adorned with decorative seed heads. It clings to a support by means of curling petioles.Suitable for growing over arbors, pergolas, various supports (e.g. trellises and poles) and fences. It can clamber over natural supports such as small trees and shrubs. Best grown in a sheltered, sunny and warm position, through gray or silver leaved shrubs. It’s a perennial, its previous year’s shoots tend to die down completely, and therefore the plant should be hard-pruned close to the ground in March.

Clematis Lemon Beauty PBR

A Polish variety raised by Szczepan Marczyński. Flowers are exceptionally large for the Atragene Group, light lemon-yellow and during budding – lime coloured. In full bloom the colour whitens. Bell-shaped, nodding, set on purple pedicles. They have 4 lanceolate, slightly wavy and pointy sepals. Stamens are composed of yellow anthers on lime-coloured filaments and pistils are light-yellow. Flowers borne in May and once more - although less abundantly - in summer. It has pretty, dark green and relatively large leaves (20 cm long and 18 cm wide) which are compound – trifoliate, with leaflets of attractive texture and serrated edges. It reaches 2-3 m height. Attaches itself to the support by means of twining leaf petioles. Frost hardy and undemanding. Prefers sunny but not hot sites and tolerates semi-shade. Particularly suitable for training along fences, garden supports, rocks, old tree stumps or over deciduous or coniferous shrubs. Useful as a groundcover.

A very hardy and undemanding selected seedling of Clematis macropetala. Charming semi-double pale blue flowers are borne profusely in the early spring on old wood. Some flowers continue to appear throughout the summer. Decorative seedheads adorn the plant in summer and autumn. Ideal for growing over fences, walls, rocks and old trunks. Particularly useful for growing through small trees and deciduous or coniferous shrubs. Makes good ground cover, suitable for container growing.

A Polish variety developed by Szczepan Marczyński. It has glaring pink flowers, with a red and pink stripe across the sepals. It blooms abundantly from June to September. It grows fast, up to 3 m high. It can be grown on any stand and in any ordinary garden soil. This plant is easy to grow. It is completely frost-resistant. It can be used in urban greenery, home gardens and in large containers on balconies and terraces. This variety needs major pruning.

Clematis Kaiser PBR

A highly attractive Japanese cultivar of double, pink flowers 10-14 cm in diameter, consisting of numerous sepals varying from elliptic to narrow – needle-shaped, bright-pink, sometimes nearly red that acquire green splashes in cold weather. Stamens and staminodia are of green hue but they turn pink when full blown. Free-flowering from May till June. Flowers cover the plant tightly, nearly from the very bottom to the top. Light green leaves usually consist of three pointed elliptic leaflets. Reaches 1–1.5 m height. Climbs by means of leaf petiolae. Suitable for growing over obelisks and other low garden supports as well as low trellises. Well-adjusted to container cultivation. Awards: bronze medal at Plantarium'2013 in Booskop; bronze medal at Zieleń to Życie'2013 in Warsaw; golden medal at Flowers-Expo'2013 in Moscow.
