A very interesting Japanese cultivar with double flowers 11-14 cm in diameter, consisting of more than 60 sepals. They are lanceolate, pointed, slightly wavy, with tips pointing downwards. Light green buds, with pink margins, become white when opening. The anthers cream, visible only in full bloom. Blooms on old wood, almost from the very bottom of the plant from the second half of May to June. Leaves dark green, single or triple. Young shoots purple. Grows up to 1.5 meters high. Climbs by leaf petioles. Suitable for growing over low supports in the garden or in containers on a balcony or terrace. Best grow in a sunny, sheltered position. It looks spectacular on a dark background.
