Characteristic and requirements Plants
Undemanding, resistant shrub yielding eye-catchnig, edible fruits. It grows up to 60 cm high. The leaves are dark green, pinnately compound with 3-5-7 leaflets. It is in flowers in July. They are white, 4-5 cm in diameter, fragrant. The flowers are hermaphrotide (have both male and female organs) and are polinated by insects. The fruits ripen in August. They are large, 3 cm in diameter, bright red and shiny. The taste is reminiscent of mulberry fruits. Easily grown in a moist, well-drained soil in sun or semi-shade. Recommended for cultivation in home gardens.
