A very profusely flowering viburnum. Creamy-white-pink inflorescences, approximately 10 cm in size, appear on the plant from May to June and consist of larger sterile flowers (on the periphery) and small fertile flowers (in the center of the inflorescence). It grows to approximately 3 m in height and 4 m in width. The leaves are oval, dark green with clearly visible veins. In autumn, they turn purple-red. The fruit ripens in late August. They are initially red, later turning navy-black. The plant is frost-hardy. It prefers fertile, humus-rich, moderately moist soil. It dislikes drought, especially during the flowering period, so it should be watered during periods of water shortage. It grows well in bright locations, but not in direct sunlight, and in partial shade. It can be planted in light partial shade. It thrives in sheltered, wind-sheltered locations. It is perfect for group planting or as a stand-alone plant.
